Move-out Ditch the Dumpster Program

On Campus Donation Centers and Drop-off 
Monday, May 6th through Friday, May 10th
Donation Center Drop-off

Hours: 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. *The hours depend on staffing. Check the schedule on the door before bringing your stuff down.
Summit Village – Lift Lounge  
Alpine Village – Antero Lounge 
 

Lobby Drop-off

Hours: 24/7
Summit Village – Monarch Lobby
Alpine Village – La Plata Lobby
 

All the following acceptable items should be in clean and in working order.   

  • Gently used, washed clothing, no undergarments 
  • Non-perishable or non-expired food items.  
  • Small Appliances - cleaned, working and nonfunctional (please label if nonfunctional) 

            o    Microwaves 

            o    Mini-Refrigerators 

            o    Air Fryers, Coffee Makers, and other small appliances. 

  •  Lamps such as lamps without lightbulbs 
  • Fans  (clean)
  • Furniture 

            o   Couches, chairs, bed frames 

            o   Bookcases, coffee tables, dressers, ottomans, TV stands 

  •  Electronics (no televisions) 

            o   Computers (or printers, scanners, or peripherals, working or not) 

  • School supplies, notebooks, art and craft supplies, books (including textbooks)

You can also donate your items at the many donation centers in Colorado Springs. Visit their websites to see what items they accept. Load your car and drive to the drive-thru to drop off your items. This process is simple and something you can do while running other errands.
