Media Downloading and File Sharing

The University of Colorado  Colorado Springs students, faculty, and staff should be aware of the implications of unauthorized downloading of copyrighted materials using University resources. This is prohibited, as it violates UCCS’s computer use policy and may violate federal law. Consequences may include disciplinary action by the University, as well as litigation by copyright holders. It is our hope that we can inform you about copyright, and encourage you to use legal, copyrighted digital materials.
